Stronger Teams.
Higher Standards.
Better Care.
Parker’s Room raises the standard of pediatric home health care. We partner with clinical teams, students, school nurses, and parents to prepare them for the clinical, logistical, and emotional realities of caring for medically fragile children outside the hospital.
We offer the first and only accredited certification exclusively for pediatric home health, plus specialized CEs built for the realities of home care — so every child and family is supported by nurses who are truly prepared.
Who we work with
Home health agencies
We train and certify your nursing staff through the CHHN and offer specialized CEs that address the realities your nurses face every day. Many agencies sponsor certification and training for their staff as part of their professional development, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.
Universities and nursing schools
We partner with nursing programs to give students direct exposure to pediatric home health through clinical rotations and preceptorships in our simulation lab. Students complete hands-on training with real equipment, guided by experienced pediatric clinicians — gaining a clear picture of home health.
Clinical teams and community partners
We work with school nurses, hospital discharge teams, and community health organizations to equip staff and community care providers to manage the needs of medically fragile children with confidence.
Learn more about…
Our commitment to specialized pediatric home care training.
We believe that children with complex needs deserve the highest standard of care at home. Providing that care well takes more than general nursing experience — it takes specialized skills, steady judgment, and preparation for real-life situations.
That’s why we focus on pediatric home health education. We offer the first and only accredited certification dedicated exclusively to this field, along with specialized CEs designed specifically for the realities of home health, to ensure children and families are supported by nurses who are truly prepared.
Our certification
Established in [X] and supported by Texas A&M University, our Certificate of Home Health Nursing (CHHN) is the first and only accredited certification dedicated exclusively to pediatric home health. Built on rigorous academic standards and real-world clinical practice, it formally recognizes specialized expertise, elevates professional credibility and provides a trusted benchmark for excellence in care.
Many pediatric home health agencies cover the cost of certification for their nurses as part of their professional development programs, but if you’re not yet working with an agency — or would like support exploring options — we can connect you with partner organizations that both sponsor certification and are actively hiring.
