Welcome to our lab

Most of our training takes place inside our purpose-built simulation lab u2014 designed to reflect the real-world complexity of pediatric home care, not the hospital setting. We use Gaumard’s high-fidelity Pediatric HAL manikins and real medical equipment. Every session is led by experienced pediatric clinicians who understand both the clinical demands of the job and the emotional and practical logistics too.

Our goal is simple: to make sure you have the advanced skills, judgment, and confidence you need to deliver great care where it matters most: at home.

Our certification

Established in 2021 and supported by Texas A&M University, our Certificate of Home Health Nursing (CHHN) is the first and only accredited certification dedicated exclusively to pediatric home health. Built on rigorous academic standards and real-world clinical practice, it formally recognizes specialized expertise, elevates professional credibility and provides a trusted benchmark for excellence in care.

Many pediatric home health agencies cover the cost of certification for their nurses as part of their professional development programs, but if you’re not yet working with an agency u2014 or would like support exploring options u2014 we can connect you with partner organizations that both sponsor certification and are actively hiring.
